Dr Brett Rowlands completed the 6-year chiropractic program in Natal Durban in 1998. There he along with his colleagues founded the student chiropractic sports association and in doing so obtained considerable exposure to sports injuries at a local and international level. Events treated included: the Gunston 500 (an international surfing event), the South African gymnastic championships, the South African soft ball championships, the comrades marathon, a junior rugby world championship and some of the atal Rugby players.
Dr Rowlands dissertation was accepted at the World Chiropractic Conference in Auckland in 1999 for a poster presentation and has since been published in the JNMPT . Dr Rowlands has since been working in the UK and currently spends most of his time at the Wantage Chiropractic Clinic.
Dr Rowlands uses mainly diversified chiropractic adjustments but also focuses on soft tissue damage and utilises a combination of dry needling, deep tissue massage and exercises.
Charges for services offered at the clinic:
Chiropractic initial consultation, £45 this will include taking your medical history, examine you and initiate your treatment if appropriate. This will take 30 min.
Chiropractic follow up treatments, £30
Massage, 1 hour - £30
